Gynecologic cancer, which affects the female reproductive system, is difficult to diagnose because symptoms can be confused with many other health conditions. Gynecologic cancer can spread to other parts of the body before being detected, so screening tests, such as PAP smears and regular gynecologic exams, are essential to early detection and effective treatment.
